Sully Díaz Returns to New York

La Casa de la Herencia Cultural Puertorriqueña, Inc. (La Casa) presents international star Sully Díaz, in a live musical and comedy show, Sully Díaz Returns to New York, Friday, March 29, 2019, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., at El Barrio’s Artspace PS 109, 215 East 99 Street, in Manhattan.

7- 8:30pm: Sully Díaz’s Musical/Comedy Show

Sully Diaz’s appearance marks her return to New York’s stage since her most acclaimed portrayal of La Lupe. Under the direction of theater and film director Luis Caballero, and drawing from a wide spectrum of personal and work experiences, this transparent unipersonal will take you on an exhilarating journey full of humor, drama, her busy love life, and on being bipolar, coupled with being bilingual, bicultural, and at the same time a Nuyorican Jíbara. 


The musical aspect of the show includes Bolero, Guaguancó, Samba, Jazz and Blues. Under the musical direction of composer and arranger Desmar Guevara and the vibrant Camaradas Salsa Orquestra, Sully Díaz will sing in English, Spanish and Portuguese. 

The event is open to the General Public and Press. Admission fee is $20.00, seniors/students with I.D. $10.00, at the door or via PAYPAL.ME/LACASAHCP. Wheel Chair Accessibility/Main Floor.
